Celcom 3G Settings For Sony Ericsson

WAP

Step1: 
Menu > Settings > Connectivity tab > Internet Settings
·    Click on “Connect Using:”
·    If there is no pre-defined settings you will have to create a new setting
·    Click Add
·    Account type:PS data
·    There will be 2 menus, Name and APN.
·    Name : < enter any preferred name >e.g Celcom 3G
·    APN : celcom 3G
·    Click Save
·    Celcom 3G will be displayed
·    Click Options>Edit
·    Scroll down to Proxy Settings,Click Edit
·    Proxy: On
·    Same for all Servers :Off
·    Selcect Proxy Servers,Click Edit
·    Select HTTP.
·    Leave blank for Username and Password.
·    Proxy address : 010.128.001.242
·    Port number : 8080
·    Click Back x4
·    Select Celcom 3G
·    Click Save
Streaming Settings
·    Scroll down to Streaming settings, click Select
·    Click on “Connect Using:”
·    Choose the setting you have preset in step i to xxii; Celcom 3G
·    Click Back
·    Phone will ask to save; click Yes
Menu > Internet > Settings
·    Click OptionsAdvanced > Connectivity tab
·    Click on “Connect Using:”
·    Choose the setting you have preset in step i to xxi; Celcom 3G
·    By default the homepage will point to Sony Ericsson. You can edit this setting
·    Select Default homepage
·    Select Name,click Edit
·    Enter Celcom 3GWAP,click OK
·    Select Address,click Edit
·    Enter : http://3g.celcom.com.myor http://wap.celcom.com.my, Click OK
·    Click Save
·    Click Back

Step2: To launch WAP Browser
·    Menu > Internet > Option > Go to > Celcom 3G WAP

MMS

Step1:
Menu > Messaging  >  Settings  >  Picture Message
·    Scroll down to MMS profile, click Edit
·    Select New Profile , click Add
·    MMS Profile Name : e.g.Celcom 2G MMS post or Celcom 2G MMS Pre
·    Message server : http://mms.celcom.net.my
·    Select ” Connect Using:”,click Edit
For 2G Prepaid
·    Select on the setting which have been preset in step i to xxi for WAP setting; Celcom 2G WAP Prepaid
·    Click Save
·    Select on the new MMS profile created ; Celcom 2G MMS Pret
For 2G Postpaid
·    Click Options> Create new
·    Account type:PS Data
·    There will be 2 menus, Name and APN.
·    Name : e.g.Celcom 2G MMS post
·    APN : mms.celcom.net.my ( for postpaid )
·    Click Save
·    Celcom 2G MMS Post will be displayed.
·    Click Options> Edit
·    Scroll down to Proxy settings, click Edit
·    Proxy: On
·    Same for all servers: Off
·    Scroll down to Proxy settings, click Edit
·    Selcet HTTP.
·    Leave it blank for Username and Password.
·    Proxy address : 010.128.001.242
·    Port number : 8080
·    Click Back x4
·    Select Celcom 2G MMS Post
·    Click Save
·    Select on the new MMS profile created ; Celcom 2G MMS Post

Step2: To send mms
·    Menu > Messaging > Write new > Picture msg

Internet Access

·    Click Save
