Rokok Buat Dari Darah Babi?

Assalamualaikum dan selamat pagi. 1 April ari tu office aku buat program jom ceria. Program jom ceria ini lebih korag subjek PJK di sekolah dulu. Ingat lagi ke PJK? Bukan perut jauh kedepan, tapi Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesihatan. Lepas bersenam, instructor itu bagilah ceramah kesihatan sedikit.

Dalam ceramah itu dia bagi tahulah cara-cara senaman yang salah dan cara menjaga pemakanan kita. Yang paling penting bila hendak jaga kesihatan ialah jangan merokok. Hendak dijadikan cerita, dia ceritalah pasal khutbah Jumaat tentang merokok itu haram. Dia ceritalah, “khatib itu bagi tahu merokok itu haram sebab merosakkan kesihatan tapi dia tak cerita yang rokok itu sendiri haram”

Aku memberi tumpuan. Menarik juga apa yang hendak diceriakan itu. Dia cerita, dia pernah bukak website pembuat rokok di US. Di sana, setiap benda dikilangkan kena declare semua bahan yang digunakan. Tidak satu pon boleh di sembunyikan. Dia ceritalah, hampir 60% bahan yang digunakan untuk membuat flavour rokok digunakan juga untuk membuat wine atau arak dan yang mengejutkan aku dia cerita filter rokok itu sendiri diperbuat dari darah babi.

Aku jenis tidak boleh terima bulat-bulat apa orang cakap. Jadi aku bukalah website British American Tabacco. Perokok tegar mesti tahu company ini, kalau korang tidak tahu jangan gelar diri korang sebagai perokok tegar. Aku pilih salah satu bahan dalam itu iaitu Ethyl acetate. Mari kita lihat Ethyl acetate selalunya digunakan untuk apa:

Ethyl acetate is primarily used as a solvent and diluent, being favored because of its low cost, low toxicity, and agreeable odor. For example, it is commonly used to clean circuit boards and in some nail varnish removers (acetone and acetonitrile are also used). Coffee beans and tea leaves are decaffeinated with this solvent. It is also used in paints as an activator or hardener. Ethyl acetate is present in confectionery, perfumes, and fruits. In perfumes, it evaporates quickly, leaving only the scent of the perfume on the skin.

Laboratory uses

In the laboratory, mixtures containing ethyl acetate are commonly used in column chromatography and extractions. Ethyl acetate is rarely selected as a reaction solvent because it is prone to hydrolysis and transesterification.

Ethyl acetate is very volatile and has a low boiling point of 77°C. Due to these properties, it can be removed from a sample by heating in a hot water bath and providing ventilation with compressed air.

Occurrence in wines

Ethyl acetate is the most common ester in wine, being the product of the most common volatile organic acid — acetic acid, and the ethyl alcohol generated during the fermentation. The aroma of ethyl acetate is most vivid in younger wines and contributes towards the general perception of “fruitiness” in the wine. Sensitivity varies, with most people having a perception threshold around 120 mg/L. Excessive amounts of ethyl acetate are considered a wine fault. Exposure to oxygen can exacerbate the fault due to the oxidation of ethanol to acetaldehyde, which leaves the wine with a sharp vinegar-like taste.

Entomological Killing Agent

In the field of entomology, ethyl acetate is an effective asphyxiant for use in insect collecting and study. In a killing jar charged with ethyl acetate, the vapors will kill the collected (usually adult) insect quickly without destroying it. Because it is not hygroscopic, ethyl acetate also keeps the insect soft enough to allow proper mounting suitable for a collection.

  2. Merokok memang dah terang dan nyata adalah berbahaya..tapi perokok2 ni bukan tak tahu. Kalo benda yg boleh membawa maut pon diaorg tak endah apatah lg kalo tahu benda ni haram. kaann..
